Interior Design and Renovation
The business needed one system to manage the documents behind each renovation project: customer quotations, signed contracts, supplier purchases and expenses, customer records and printable invoices. The system also had to handle Traditional Chinese content correctly and be ready for a client acceptance test.
We took an existing order and invoicing platform (sales, quotations, purchasing, warehouses, point of sale and reports) and prepared it for client acceptance and daily use. This included entering the company's customers, service catalogue, quotations, contracts and supplier records; correcting database-compatibility faults that had broken core sales, purchasing and reporting screens; repairing the printable sales, purchase and quotation PDFs so Traditional Chinese and English text display correctly; fixing product search for the new service items; enabling outbound email; and delivering a bilingual user manual.
A quotation is prepared for a customer and, once accepted, converted into a sales contract. Service items are added to the sale through a product search, and the sale is issued as a printable PDF. Supplier receipts and project expenses are recorded in the same system, and purchases, transfers and stock across warehouses are tracked alongside them.
