The business required a structured mobile process for customers and staff to create, confirm and review orders. The workflow also needed to support the operational documents used after an order was accepted, rather than stopping at the initial order request.
We designed and delivered a mobile ordering application supported by a database, backend services and API connectivity. Users could sign in, review suggested order lists and create orders through the application. Confirmed order information could then be used to create quotations, invoices, delivery notes and picking lists. The application also retained order history and supported customised delivery and order information, providing a more complete operational workflow than a standalone mobile catalogue.
A user signed in, reviewed suggested items and created an order through the mobile application. The order was confirmed and sent into the operational process, where the same information could support quotation, invoicing, delivery-note and picking-list preparation.
