Define what successful implementation means
Success should be expressed in operational terms: which users can complete which tasks, what data must be correct, which integrations must work and what evidence is required before the system is accepted.
Separate configuration from business change
A technically valid configuration may still create a poor process. Implementation should compare the system model with the way the business intends to work and resolve gaps deliberately.
Treat data migration as a controlled workstream
Legacy data often contains duplicates, inconsistent formats and obsolete records. Migration should define what is retained, transformed, validated and reconciled before the new system becomes authoritative.

Test real journeys, not only functions
Acceptance should follow complete scenarios through the system, including non-standard paths. This is how the project verifies that configuration, data, workflow and integrations work together.
Plan cutover and fallback
The move into production should define timing, final data steps, communications, support coverage and what happens if a critical condition is not met.
Support users through the transition
Training is most useful when it reflects actual responsibilities and processes. Documentation, support routes and visible ownership help the business stabilise quickly after launch.
